Inspired by Haute Couture as a form of art and 17^th century lace makers. A fascination with body decoration as an expression of identity and communication leads me to continually explore this vast landscape through portrait images.

Carbon, charcoal and collage; its’ bespoke design, hand-cut from cotton rag, heavy 300gsm textured paper. 24 karat gold leaf embellishes the background.
