Inspired by Haute Couture as a form of art and 17^th century lace makers. A fascination with body decoration as an expression of identity and communication leads me to continually explore this vast landscape through portrait images.

Original Art: Carbon, charcoal and collage; its’ bespoke design was hand-cut from cotton rag, heavy 300gsm textured paper. 24 karat gold leaf embellished the background.

The original work has been finely scanned and is available now as an Archival Pigment Print in one size, on beautiful cotton ragg heavy 300gsm textured Hahnemühle paper, signed and unframed.
